Interested in joining the Santa Barbara Power Squadron?

The process is simple:

• Whether or not you’ve taken the ABC class you can join the Santa Barbara Sail and Power Squadron.
• However, taking advanced classes beyond ABC does require membership.
• If you are interested in other classes visit our Education site from our Home Page.
• If you’d like to join or get more information discuss it with your instructor or contact “Membership” through the email link below.
• To join you will be given an application to which you can attach a check or pay by cash for your membership fee.
• You're a member of the Santa Barbara Power Squadron - WELCOME!

Types of membership:

Active Member - provides full membership privileges and responsibilities, which include taking educational courses, receiving a copy of the monthly National magazine - Ensign, receiving a copy of the Squadron newsletter - the Signal Hoist, participating in social activities, attending meetings, voting, holding elective or appointed office, serving on and/or chairing a committee, earning a merit mark, paying dues, and authorization to display the USPS Ensign and SBPS burgee.

Additional Active Member - one who resides in the same household and is in the same squadron of an active member. This member pays 1/2 the National dues of the active member. This member enjoys all the rights and privileges of an active member.
